"So proud of my boys for graduating from their Pre-Cotillion class this week! So impressed with the manners and etiquette they have learned and the skills they are proud to keep practicing! Chivalry isn't dead! These feral little dudes clean up well. "
"Growing up surrounded by her three brothers, my daughter jumps at the chance to attend Pre-Cotillion in the summers! Although she has completed Pre-Cotillion 1 and 2, she still wants to go back each summer for refresher courses. She eagerly volunteers for any opportunity to speak in public to show off what she's learned, and I often hear reports from school that she teaches her friends good manners during lunch and recess."
"A five-star experience from start to finish! Amelia benefited from the emphasis on respect, table manners, conversation skills, and meeting new friends. Pre-Cotillion offers meaningful lessons that help children build confidence and character in a positive, encouraging setting."

Parents often tell us they initially enroll for the manners. What they notice most is the confidence.
Children frequently become more comfortable:
Confidently introduce themselves to adults.
Feel comfortable at restaurants, family dinners, and special occasions.
Participating in group activities
Meeting new friends
Showing leadership
Navigating unfamiliar situations
Demonstrating maturity and respect
The lessons learned in Pre-Cotillion often extend far beyond the classroom.

While students certainly learn proper etiquette, many parents tell us the greatest benefit is something much deeper.
They see children who:
✓ Walk into a room with confidence
✓ Introduce themselves comfortably
✓ Speak respectfully with adults
✓ Build stronger friendships
✓ Demonstrate leadership
✓ Show greater maturity and consideration for others
✓ Feel more comfortable in unfamiliar situations
Etiquette is simply the vehicle.
Confidence, character, and social skills are the destination.

For more than three decades, the National League of Junior Cotillions® has helped families throughout Nashville and Williamson County prepare young people for the opportunities ahead.
